Build and Trek 2024

Once again we will be taking a strong team to Nepal and specifically to Dhungadi, the chosen site for our latest Vocational Centre (VC). Along with the successful Everest Base Camp 2022 expedition, they will be raising funds for the project, every penny of which will be matched by St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation for their own support to worthy causes in the UK.

The team will work hard on the building site in Dunghadi for five days, making a significant contribution to the project. They will work alongside the Nepali team clearing the site, digging foundations, shifting bricks and other materials, and doing some of the hard-labour jobs so the skilled Nepali team don’t waste any time.

After that they will enjoy (or endure!) a trek in the Annapurna Region of Nepal and see the dawn over two of the 14 highest peaks in the world – Annapurna 1 and Dhaulagiri.

Each team member is expected to raise a minimum of £5,000 in donations and they each pay all their own flights, insurance and expenses.
